When Doreen Rappaport and I arrived at
Little Shop of Stories in Decatur, Georgia on Wednesday, we were greeted by this gigantic frog, sitting in the window, reading
Lady Liberty: A Biography to a smaller frog. They seemed to like it. I think they could relate to Lady Liberty, because they're also green, and made of copper.

Here are some of the other places I'll be during the next couple weeks:
May 10 2:00-4:00 Book Ends, Winchester, MA, slide presentation on the making of
Lady Liberty: A Biography, and book signing
May 17 12:00-2:00 Barnes & Noble, Newington, NH, reading and book signing
May 18 12:30-2:30
Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art, slide presentation on the making of
Lady Liberty: A Biography, and book signing
